Chocolate Story Walks

Back by popular demand for one day only!

Discover how Bristol’s chocolate makers changed the world.

How Fry’s invented the world’s first ever chocolate bar, chocolate confectionary and Easter eggs. From Scott of the Antarctic, to Parliament via Ghana and Peru. From Dyson to Danny Boy, and why an international opera star performed on a factory floor. Through Georgian alleyways and forgotten passages, and past Bristol’s oldest surviving chocolate factory, Guilberts, we’ll be talking, walking, tasting and sharing Bristol’s egg-ceptional chocolate history!
I feel like I am seeing the city with new eyes.
Completely fascinating. I’ve lived here all my life and never been down these streets.
Wow, it’s a walk with special effects! You get to smell and taste and listen to music. It really brings it all to life.

Mon 5th May 2014 – 10am, 12pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm

Tickets available here
